Vegan Online Store (VOS) is an online platform where you can sell your ethical

products & services directly to buyers around the world. We want to make

sure that you and your buyers have a positive experience on VOS. Please read

on to find out more about your rights, as well as what is expected of you, as a


This policy is a part of our T​ erms of Use.​ By opening a VOS shop / service, you’re agreeing to this policy and our Terms of Use.

VOS takes 5% + V.A.T on all transactions through the platform, including services. In return you receive an online shop inside of our ethical marketplace, powered by a web based dashboard, of which you have complete control. There is a subscription fee of £5.99 per month (no commitment) for listing items and you can list as many items as you wish – as long as they align with the terms of the platform.

Payments are processed through paypal. You provide your paypal account details on sign up and then our system automatically takes our commission and sends your money to your paypal account. This is done immediately, with the only delay being the time it takes for Paypal takes to distribute your funds into your account. This should happen within 24 – 72 hours.


You can use VOS Messenger to communicate directly with your buyers or other VOS members. Conversations are a great way for buyers to ask you questions about an item or an order.

Conversations may not be used for the following activities:

  1. Sending unsolicited advertising or promotions, requests for donations or spam;

  2. Harassing or abusing another member or violating our Anti-Discrimination Policy;

  3. Contacting someone after they have explicitly asked you not to; or

  4. Interfering with a transaction or the business of another member.


Interference occurs when a member intentionally interferes with another member’s shop in order to drive away their business. Interference is strictly prohibited on VOS.

Examples of interference include:

  1. Contacting another member via the messenger to warn them away from a particular member, shop or item;

  2. Posting in public areas to demonstrate or discuss a dispute with another member;

  3. Purchasing from a seller for the sole purpose of leaving a negative review;

  4. Maliciously clicking on a competitor’s Promoted Listings ads in order to drain

    that member’s advertising budget, also known as ‘click fraud’.


Any use of the VOS platform to harass other members is strictly prohibited. Similarly, Conversations may not be used to support or glorify hatred or otherwise violate our Anti-Discrimination Policy.​ If you receive a Convo that violates this policy, please let us know right away.
